Who We Are

KIPP is a national network of 242 college-preparatory public charter schools with a 25-year track record of preparing students in educationally underserved communities for success in college and in life. Across the country, 35% of KIPPsters earn a four-year college degree (three times the national average for low-income students) and a recent study released by Mathematica showed the impact of attending KIPP middle schools could erase the racial achievement gap in four-year college enrollment rates.

At KIPP, teachers, leaders, students, and families are all united around the same goal – putting students on a path to choice-filled lives in college, career and beyond. By providing outstanding educators, more time in school learning, a strong culture of achievement, and the support of KIPP through College counselors, KIPP students are attending and graduating college at rates that exceed, not just the low-income average, but the U.S. average.

What We Do & Why It Matters

KIPP builds a partnership among parents, students, and teachers that puts learning first. By providing outstanding educators, more time in school learning, and a strong culture of achievement, we are focused on helping all of our students climb the mountain to college. Nationally, more than 90 percent of KIPP middle school alumni have graduated high school, and more than 80 percent of KIPP alumni have gone on to college.

KIPP TECH VALLEY is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, handicap, age, religion, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin.
